Kyle A. Kitchens was born and raised in Texas. He is married to his wife Katie. They have two lovely sproutlings, Jedidiah and little Elsie. The Lord Jesus saw fit to deliver him out of darkness and bring him into HIS marvelous light when he was in his early adult years while serving time in the Texas penitentiary. After being released he moved to Dubuque, Iowa to attend Emmaus Bible College and begin his ministerial training. He migrated to North Carolina where he met his beloved bride Katie at Hephzibah Baptist Church in Wendell, NC. They married under three oak trees at the Wake Forest Birthplace. Kyle then resumed his ministerial training at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary at the College where he finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry. Soon after, he began his Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry of which he is soon to complete. He and Katie are also one of the first couples to be trained and affirmed through the North American Mission Board in Church Revitalization.
Early on as a new believer Kyle felt the Lord's calling on his life to vocational ministry. He spent much of his time in local and community evangelism as well as missions–– London, England, Honduras, and Jenkins, Kentucky. His passion is to plow, sow, water, and watch the Holy Spirit create the new life of Christ in lost sinners. He wishes to see the Great Commission be fulfilled both locally and on a global scale until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. And his emphasis of church growth consists of real and vital relationships of mutual discipleship amongst believers in the local congregation and bestowing love on hurting community members everywhere.
One thing Kyle loves immensely is to sit down and talk about the Bible. He loves seeing people’s hearts changed by the power of God’s Word.
